Lost Pets

(PLEASE NOTE: This page is operated as a public service to help reunite lost pets. Staff members are unable to match lost pets descriptions from this site – it is an owner’s responsibility to look for their lost pet. Owners are advised to come to the shelter at least every other day to view lost or stray animals.)

We have changed the way lost pet submissions are sent to YWAC due to ongoing technical issues.  If you have a lost pet and do not see the listing on our website, please resend your information to klively@knoxpets.org or call Karen Lively at 865-215-6668 to add your listing.

If you have lost your pet, please send an email to klively@knoxpets.org with the following information:

  1. Your Name:
  2. Home Phone:
  3. Work Phone:
  4. Cell Phone:
  5. Email (Required):

DISCLAIMER: We encourage pet owners to view the Listings of Found Animals and to list their lost pets on our Lost Animal list only as a public service and supplement to traditional avenues for finding a pet, which include visiting the Animal Center to look for your lost pet, listing the pet as lost on the Animal Center's Lost and Found log, placing newspaper 'lost pet' ads, posting flyers, etc. The lost animal log is an online log only and is not accessed by Animal Center staff - it is an owner's responsibility to look for their lost pet. Please DO NOT rely on shelter staff to check incoming animals against this log. You should visit the Animal Center a minimum of every two days to search for your lost pet.
