The Animal Center (3201 Division Street, corner of Division St. and Sutherland Ave., at the entrance to John Tarleton Park) is open to the public seven days a week.

 Monday, September 6, Labor Day: The Animal Center will be open 11 am – 6 pm.

 Thursday, November 11, Veteran’s Day: The Animal Center will be open 11 am – 6 pm.

 Thursday, November 25, Thanksgiving: The Animal Center will be closed.

 Friday, November 26, Day After Thanksgiving: The Animal Center will be open 11 am – 6 pm.

 Friday, December 24, Christmas Eve: The Animal Center will be open 11 am – 6 pm.

 Saturday, December 25, Christmas: The Animal Center will be closed.

 Sunday, December 26, Day After Christmas: The Animal Center will be open 1 – 6 pm.

 Monday, December 27 through Friday, December 31: The Animal Center will be open 11 am – 6 pm.

 Saturday, January 1, 2011, New Years Day: The Animal Center will be closed.  Regular hours resume on January 2, 2011.
